Dr. Chu graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine with a Doctor in Medicine. She moved to St. Louis, Missouri to begin her residency in Internal Medicine at Saint Louis University. After completing residency training, she transitioned to be a chief resident. She is starting a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at University of Kentucky in July 2023.

When Dr. Chu isn't working, she enjoys listening to a variety of podcasts, catching up with family and friends, writing elaborate Yelp reviews, indoor rock climbing and exploring the great outdoors. She recently traveled to Germany and Austria.
